When Donald Trump was elected America's 45th President something happened which no one could have predicted. It started a movement which, even a year later, is showing no signs of slowing down. The 2017 inaugural women's marches were a cry against Mr Trump's election victory and took place across the US and beyond. This year the movement got even bigger when hundreds of thousands of women (and men) around America and the world took to the streets for the 2018 Women's March. Demonstrators surged into the streets in protests in American cities across the country, with parallel rallies in Europe, Asia and Africa turning the event into a global affair. This wasn't just against Trump but a statement about women's rights across the globe. So I created this map using images from Getty and Flickr to show just how massive this movement has become. Please share and add to it... lets show women and men across the world coming together to fight for change.
